The City of Argo invites you to a special event to discuss “Starting a New Chamber of Commerce” at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Argo City Hall. Dona Bonnett with adr Business & Marketing Strategies will be the guest speaker to explore this topic. 

The presentation will include information on chamber of commerce start-up basics, benefits of creating a chamber of commerce, important information to consider and interactive discussion.

About the Speaker:

Dona Bonnett is a marketing coach, web designer, professional photographer & videographer and the owner of adr Business & Marketing Strategies.  With over 35 years of experience in the medical and corporate world including serving as a Medical Practice Administrator, Business Consultant, Business Developer, Business Owner and Entrepreneur, Dona has helped many small businesses achieve their goals as well as develop her own successful endeavors.

Her company, adr Business & Marketing Strategies, provides business & marketing services for small business development and a wide range of marketing products and services for your business needs.  Dona also writes a weekly newspaper column for St. Clair News-Aegis and is a contributor for several of the area newspapers. 

Because Dona understands the value of connecting local businesses and the value of a chamber of commerce, she is very active in chamber of commerce work and speaks to groups about the importance of these organizations. 

Dona has served on the Board of Directors for Moody Area Chamber of Commerce, Greater Odenville Chamber of Commerce and Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce.  She helped Moody create their Corporate Liaison volunteer program and served as the Liaison Leader for three years.  Dona is currently serving on the Executive Board with Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce and will serve as President for 2019.  Dona also helped Leeds create their Corporate Ambassador volunteer program.
